This policy explains what personal data Nimap Infotech collects when you use nimapinfotech.ae or engage us for software development services, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 15 September 2026Nimap Infotech ("Nimap", "we", "us") builds custom software, AI systems and dedicated engineering teams for clients in the United Arab Emirates and internationally. We take the confidentiality of client and visitor information seriously.
This policy covers personal data we handle as a controller - information about website visitors, enquirers, candidates and client contacts. Where we process data inside software we build or operate for a client, that client is the controller and their own privacy notice applies; we act on their documented instructions under a separate agreement.
We collect only what we need for the purposes described below.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, special categories of personal data such as health information, religious or political beliefs, or government identification numbers, unless we have specifically requested them for a defined purpose.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Depending on the context and the law that applies to you, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with a legal obligation.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used in aggregate.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
We share personal data only where there is a clear reason to, and only with parties bound to protect it.
Nimap Infotech operates from the UAE and India and uses cloud infrastructure that may store or process data in other countries. Where personal data moves across borders, we put appropriate safeguards in place, including contractual protections with our providers, and we honour any data residency commitments agreed with a client in writing.
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as required to meet legal, contractual, tax or accounting obligations. Enquiry records are typically kept for up to 24 months from last contact; contractual and financial records are kept for the period required by applicable law. Recruitment records are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication for internal systems, network segmentation, logging and monitoring, secure development practices, vendor review and periodic vulnerability assessment.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data and poses a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by applicable law.
